White House contender Gingrich vows to press ahead even if he loses Florida primary

    (ANI)

White House contender Newt Gingrich has said that he plans to press ahead even if he loses the Florida primary.

"I will go all the way to the convention. I expect to win the nomination. You just had two national polls that show me ahead. Why don't you ask Gov. Romney what he will do if he loses since he is behind in both national polls," Politico quoted Gingrich, as saying.

His comments ahead of the Florida primary and after his win in South Carolina.

His statement indicates that questions of dropping out of the race have offended Gingrich and his supporters.

It is not yet clear how he will afford a campaign unless he suddenly is able to raise bigger funds

But if Sheldon Adelson continues to help an old friend through the super PAC supporting him, it may be less of a question, a report said. (ANI)
